Eskinol Facial Cleanser (Classic White with Mineral Grains) Review

It really has been a long time for me since I last used Eskinol Facial Cleanser. I don't know when was the last time. I just know that I stopped using Eskinol when I was preggers and after that I used a different brand. Then I followed a cleansing-toning-moisturizing routine around two and a half years ago, which consisted of a mix of organic and inorganic products. Well, the bottomline is that I stopped using Eskinol for its high alcohol content, which you can really smell.

But why I used it again? Well, I got lazy hehe. I just stayed at home today and am feeling cold due to the weather. And I feel tired preparing for the cleansing part washing hands first and getting warm water (there's only cold water from the faucet so washing-the-hands-part makes me cold already so XD). So I used it again to cleanse my face in the easiest way. #lazy

Eskinol Facial Cleanser has been my mom's staple and I believe in many Filipinas' stash. Many swore to it and I did too. This was my first facial cleanser too and helped ease my acne but didn't really help resolve it. It was a love-hate relationship.

Eskinol Facial Cleanser has repackaged a lot but still comes in different variant. If I'm not mistaken (and correct me if I'm wrong), it comes in Classic White the one with and without grains, the one with the green papaya, thr one with the orange papaya, and lemon. I can only remember the color of the package and not really the correct description. I think there are others. My mom and I use the white one, preferrably without the grains. This time though, my mom has the one with grains.

It may have changed but the thing it does is still the same. The Eskinol Classic White with Mineral Grains promises to:

√ Remove deep seated dirt, excess oil, and makeup with Micro-cleanse Anti-bacterial formula.

√ Whitens with continued use. (which is true for me)

√ With Mineral Grains to unclog pores and help protect skim from blackheads. (this can be harsh for people with severe acne. it may just worsen because it is quite abrasive though drying.)

It actually reasoned out that: Washing your face with soap is not enough. After washing your face twice, apply Deep Cleanser with cotton and you will see that there is still dirt left.

Ingredients: Water, Alcohol Denat, Potassium Alum, Sorbitol, Perfume, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Menthol. -- These are not for hard-core pro-organics. As for me, hehe but I try to steer away. I really can't avoid given I look for budget and friendly finds.

So, will I use this again? Hmmm, maybe when I want to cleanse my face the easiest way, especially if I just stay at home all day. If I go out, I'm more comfortable using my Etude House facial wash (on a separate post, a must for me XD) And I wouldn't worry buying one if a laziness comes. My mom always has this so I can just ask for some heehee.

Have you tried Eskinol Classic White Facial Cleanser too? Post your own thoughts about it. ^^

Happy New Year 2014!

Hi Guise!

Happy New Year!

This year should be my year of sharing more insights and findings on the products that I use and want to use.  If you have been a constant follower, you'll know that I have been a terrible lazy bone on the whole blog thing and got tired most of the time. Excuses... excuse me T_T. Oh well...

I don't really have a resolution in general, it's more like of a To-Do or bucket list.  I already have one To-Do for my growing blog is to post at least three (3) or more a month.  I should really practice and do what I love the most and not be lazy about it.

So good luck to me on this one guise!  Happy New Year to you! !^o^!
