Palty Hair Dye in Milk Tea Brown Review: I success at dyeing!

So last night, I dyed my hair with Palty Hair Dye in Milk Tea Brown.  This was my first time using a DIY hair dye in my entire life.  Prior to choosing Palty, I have considered getting a bubble hair dye from a well-known Korean brand.  To my unfortunate  or fortunate  luck, two branches that I went to didn't have the shade that I want at the time I decided that I want to buy.  And it was pricier than I expected so I reconsidered my options.  I finally decided getting Palty after reading many reviews about it again and it was a little cheaper than the Korean brand.

I wanted to dye my hair because I believe the lighter hair color makes me livelier and younger. ohohoohoh.  I have strong black hair and felt really bored about it already.  Imagine, 20+ years of strong, black hair!  That's why I had it colored last year and I want to maintain it.  It could be pretty expensive doing this in a salon on a quarterly basis so thank God for DIY hair products. :D

My hair color before,already uneven.

I came to know about Palty hair dye way back in 2011, when I was still working online.  I had a lot of chances getting to know this product and read about a lot of positive reviews about its effectivity.  I also read about some so-so and negative comments about it.  Nonetheless, I bought it because the positives outweight the negatives.

I got the Milk Tea Brown and was skeptical because the box showed a lighter result but there's a swatch at the box and shows the expected results depending on your current hair color.  If your hair has been bleached blonde before application, I bet you'll get the exact color on the box.  You can sport a Tsubasa Miyakawa look right away. :D

My result is the one on the top right.

Since this product has been in the market for quite awhile,  there were a lot demos already out in many different blogs and vlogs.  Thank God for that I don't have to do a demo. :P

So in a nutshell,

What I Like:

  • I found it really easy to do!  The box already came witrh English texts, compared to before that it only contained Japanese texts.  One had to strongly rely on the images and had to read or watch demos about it.
  • It didn't sting!
  • It evenly covered my hair!  Though, I have strong gray hairs that refused to change color.  I got the same effect when I had my hair colored at the salon.  At least, the ones on my bangs followed suit. :D
  • It didn't dried out my hair.  While I was rinsing my hair, my hair wasn't  stiff at all to my surprise.  I was expecting it would be really stiff like broom hair but it wasn't.  I just shampooed twice and didn'r bother conditioning it. LOL  I put on the Tsubaki hair moisturizer that came along with it and voila!

What I don't like:

  • The smell can be a little bothersome.  It was not pleasant for me but my Mom said that it was fine and didn't sting her nose. (Her olfactory nerves can be sensitive. XD)
  • There was no cape.  This is no biggie but it would be nice to have a free cape don't you think?

Thank God that this product is now available in SM department and grocery stores and in Watsons.  I don't have to look it up in online stores anymore.  However, the shades are pretty limited so you may still want to look up online stores for other outrageous shades.

I really like what my hair had become, I might repurchase this shade again.  It only costs for Php 389.75 from the SM Lanang grocery store.  I'm pretty happy with my first experience with Palty Hair Dye. !^o^!

Achievement Unlocked 2014!

Hi Guise!

It really took me awhile to update my mundane 2015 wishlist.  I was kinda thinking that maybe I won't be updating it anymore or maybe I don't really have anything in mind to have in my possession anymore  Technically, my mundane wishlist is about the things that  I really want to have in my collection.  Mostly are books but I got some things that are worth investing such as must haves in one's closet, like the loafers that I really love!

I only got three (3) items last year.  I'm carrying over the ones that I wasn't able to get last year to this year.  Maybe modify the list a little.

I'm listing my 2015 list and I guess as of now I can say, they will be just novels for the moment.  If you want to check it out, check it on my pages above.

How about you?  Do you have your own 2015 wishlist?  Tell me all about it. :D

Great Finds from The Great Three-Day Sale

Today marks the last day of The Great Three Day Sale at SM Lanang Premier. Here are the stuff that I bought.

All stuff are for the BB and I wasn't able to get some for me. :( That's okay thought. These finds were prized really low. I was really confident going for a little spree.

Well, I hope some of the stores would still have their sale until this week. I saw some shoes that I'd really want to have. Crossing my fingers on that XD.

So, I guess, see you again Great Three-Day Sale!
